Transfer Portal Combine
The TLK Transfer Portal Combine is designed to give kickers, punters, and long snappers an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college coaches and recruiting coordinators.
This one-day event will include full evaluations, charting sessions, and filmed reps from multiple camera angles. TrackMan technology will be used to capture the most accurate data possible — including hang time, distance, and ball flight metrics — giving coaches verified analytics on every rep.
• Kickers will work under the covered pavilion, going through full charting sessions. Those who perform at a high level will have the opportunity for live field-goal reps if requested by attending coaches. Kickers will also compete in a kickoff evaluation, where hang time, distance, and placement will be measured and charted using TrackMan technology.
• Punters will compete on the outdoor field, displaying their open-field and directional punting, as well as their pin-deep (going-in) punts. Each punter will also have the opportunity to showcase their holding ability for kickers during live sessions.
• Long snappers will complete their charting and evaluation under the pavilion. They’ll go through full punt set work, showing accuracy, consistency, velocity, and coverage skills during their snapping portion. Snappers will also be evaluated while working directly with punters to simulate live game situations.
Combo specialists (kickers who punt or punters who kick) must submit film for review to qualify for participation in multiple sections.
Each participant will receive verified data and professionally edited film following the event.
The combine will be held January 6th, 2025, at UAB, aligning with the first day of the NCAA contact period — allowing college coaches to attend and evaluate players in person.
This event is Free for all Coaches!
Athlete Entry Fee: $500
